The Silver Green Achiever Scheme

• Draft and approve an environmental policy
• Verify that you are compliant with all relevant environmental legislation
• Establish your baseline carbon footprint
• Set out a 12 month action plan to reduce your environmental impacts
• Write to your suppliers to inform them of your commitment to reducing your environmental impact

A site visit will be arranged to check compliance with environmental legislation and agree your action plan. Your action plan will be converted into a declaration which clearly and simply sets out your intentions to your stakeholders and any interested party. This is an important step to raising your environmental profile.

The declaration is based upon how and when the systems would be in place so that you can make this information available to your customers if necessary. It is important that they can understand what was being carried out and achieved.

Our fees are:-

For companies with twenty employees or less £330 (+VAT & Expenses)

For companies with twenty one employees or more £660 (+VAT & Expenses)



What Do You Get On completion?
Completing this stage of the award you will have a greater appreciation and understanding about your environmental impacts and how they are intrinsically tied in with all of your business activities. This will enable you to control them. You will also begin to understand which issues are important to your customers and suppliers and work this to your advantage through the Green Achiever.

• Your organisation will receive a CERTIFICATE to show that you are making a positive change to improve your environmental credentials
• You will be able to use the Silver logo on your products and point of sale items
• Registration and declaration of your commitments will be placed on the website
• A FREE monthly newsletter to keep you abreast of important environmental news
